MEET TREASURE!
Treasure arrived here at age fifteen in November 2011. He had a mouthful of infected teeth, high blood pressure, and serious kidney issues. We prayed he'd make it to Christmas 2011. Boy, did he ever! We celebrated his Sweet Sixteen in November 2012, and he is indeed our treasured boy. He's funny and feisty and the king of all our hearts. Though small, he's totally alpha -- he rules the roost! He even ran for President last year, with the slogan "Fairness and Fluffiness for All." (A lot of people wish he'd won, too.) He's a "furever foster" here at Sheltie Rescue Alternative as he needs daily fluids and various medications. Treasure has a rare condition called Canine Pulmonary Hypertension, for which he takes Viagra (really!).
